Headland Montessori ELC - Manly Campus

Established 2012, our Manly Campus is a unique offering for families looking for outstanding Montessori Early Childhood Education and Long Day Care. Our campus is located in the heart of the beautiful Sydney Harbour National Park, surrounded by native Australian bushland but conveniently within a 5 min drive from Manly ferry.

Our campus is licensed for Long Day Care (3m to 5 years) and approved for Childcare Subsidies (CCS) and an NESA accredited NSW Independent School (K).

As one of the only Long Day Care service in Australia to be accredited as an Independent School by a State Government, our children is able to complete their Kindergarten/Foundation year of Primary School with us prior to Year 1.

This is particularly important for families choosing a Montessori pre-School education for their children as in an authentic Montessori Cycle 1 Program, children aged 3 to 6 years are in a mixed age learning environment for 3 years to complete their full educational curriculum.

Over the years, our team has created a Montessori Curriculum mapping to gain accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and therefore gaining the approval to become a School that make it possible for our children are achieve the Educational outcomes expected from the NSW government.
